UCC Prayer Breakfast: Take a Stand – Actions
1 – The eight concerned
ministers who confronted the UCC moderator on his theology and were shutdown
have three options in response: (1) change their minds (rise to a new
consciousness) and join the religious liberalism endemic in their denomination;
(2) return to their churches and bury their heads in the sand; or (3) lead
there sheep out of the apostate denomination.
The double tragedy for these alarmed believers is not just the
unorthodoxy of their denominational leader, but also the hypocrisy of the
moderator’s notion of all values being equal.
Clearly, he does not intend this concept to apply to orthodox Christian
values, since he is proud to leave the UCC on autopilot set for a
pro-homosexual course and a liberal destiny. 2 – Christendom should not allow well-educated, articulate deists to wander about the country spreading the doctrines of natural theology as if they are part of the authentic Christian worldview. The orthodox need to isolate those who proselytize a reimaged Christ. The orthodox must do all in their power to help their brothers and sisters in Christ to escape the United Church of Canada.
